ѹ ¡ҵ = United we stand, divided we fall!
(Notes: This familiar quotation was a motto of the American revolutionaries. Journalist and poet George Pope Morris (18021864) first said this slogan in his Flag of Our Union:

A song for our banner! The watchword recall
Which gave the Republic her station:
United we stand, divided we fall!
It made and preserves us a nation!

ͧӵ = To Cry one's eyes out. To cry a river over/for someone.

зҧ٨ Ҿ٨줹 (˹ҧ٨ Ҿ٨줹) = Time will tell. Only time can tell.

ѡѡѡ˹ (also: ѡ ѡҹ ) = Love me little, love me long.

ѡ١ ѡ١ = Spare the rod, and spoil the child.

ѡʹء ء춹Ѵ = No joy without annoy. No pleasure without repentance.

Ҫͧǡѹ = If two men ride on a horse, one must ride behind. (Duh!)

ɻɡͧ = A bad shearer never had a good sickle. A bad workman blames his tools.

ҧ (also: ҧ ) = A jack/Jack of all trade is the master of none. A jack/Jack of all trades, master of none. This one is often shortened as: "Jack of all trades."
